Browse Milkvetch (Astragalus cibarius)

A good overall plant view of this specimen was not possible as it was engulfed by other vegetation.

Note the calyx tube (called so per Dr. Lavin) color
which is an interesting match to the stem macro in the next image.

Stems red colored esepcially at the base of the plant (in this specimen anyway).
Calyx tubes carry this color as well (see upper right of image).
